Virtual production
I built one of Hong Kong's early LED ICVFX stages hands-on: scouting high-resolution LED panels, checking refresh behavior, physically rigging the wall and making the stage usable for camera work.
The infrastructure covered render nodes, genlock, networking, Unreal Engine with nDisplay, hardware camera tracking, lens calibration and a custom mobile app for virtual camera control.
Motion capture and virtual artists
For virtual artists and VTuber productions, I sync mocap data with Unreal Engine real-time rendering so on-location performances can become immersive live character experiences.
Years in event tech feed directly into the pipeline work: media servers, NDI streams, low-latency routing, virtual cameras and multi-operator control room planning.
Commercial projects and music videos have put me in diverse roles: director of photography, assistant camera, gaffer, editor, VFX artist, motion graphics artist and 3D animator.

Events and interactive systems
Event production work has ranged from corporate galas to music festivals, bringing together visual engineering, audio engineering and stagehand experience.
That includes Resolume Arena for LED displays, projection mapping, lighting consoles, NDI streaming setups, Dante audio and the fast-paced discipline of keeping live systems running smoothly.
Teach and learn
I teach media production courses for NGOs and schools, working with students from curious kids to high-school crews on editing, DaVinci Resolve, multicam broadcasting and filmmaking techniques.
At City University of Hong Kong I also developed AR/MR solutions for chemistry teaching and supervised student projects. Teaching keeps the workflow honest: it must be explainable, repeatable and useful.
